VIDEO: Teen Threatened With Rape Laughs on Beyond Scared Straight Premiere
Beyond Scared Straight On the Season 2 premiere of Beyond Scared Straight, at-risk youths once again are thrown in a prison where people scream in their faces and otherwise attempt to show them that jail is no place to end up. This episode takes place at the Mecklenburg County Jail in Charlotte, N.C., where one of the teens laughs when an inmate basically says he's going to rape him. Inmate Catoe, who's awaiting trial for assault with a deadly weapon, refers to the kid Alex as "Alexis," says they're "fittin' to be married" and tells him that he's going to put him in a dress. Hilarious, right? WRONG! (Also, isn't insane that a 15-year-old, regardless of his past, is being threatened with sexual assault?) Beyond Scared Straight sets ratings record for A&E We'll see if Alex gets straightened out on the Beyond Scared Straight season premiere, airing Thursday, Aug. 18 at 10/9c on A&E. Watch the preview:

Exclusive Grey's Anatomy Scoop: Who's Taking Over as Chief of Seattle Grace?
The Walking Dead, Sarah Wayne Callies and John Bernthal Walking Dead: Lori and Shane's pre-zombiepocalypse life will be revealed this fall. "It was fun to step out of the zombie world and show Lori with a BlackBerry," says Sarah Wayne Callies. "The scene underscores how deeply Lori and Shane love [her son] Carl, plus I hope it will finally put to bed the ridiculous rumors that an affair was going on before [Lori's husband and Shane's friend] Rick 'died.'" Additionally, creator Robert Kirkman is considering penning a Dead graphic novel, "Volume Zero," that would show just how the two went from grieving friends to lovers. Nikita: A key flashback comes in Episode 6, involving Nikita's biological parents, whom viewers have never seen. "We're going into her origins," teases executive producer Craig Silverstein. "She's searching for home and will find one that is unlike anything she ever imagined." Her backstory will show Nikita as a teenage junkie, introduce her old female mentor and show how she was recruited into Division. "It's going to blow fans' minds," says star Maggie Q. NCIS: Los Angeles: Executive producer Shane Brennan says the September 20 premiere includes a flashback to "Callen with his never-before-seen mother in a location we've seen before." Brennan pre-shot a scene last year with Chris O'Donnell's son, Finley, 5, as little Callen. "My son didn't know what was going on at the time and neither did I," admits Chris. "Not until I read the season-premiere script did I realize what Shane had done. It's pretty amazing." Subscribe to TV Guide Magazine now!

First Pics From Clooney's Ides Of March
George & Gosling get politicalDespite the promise of President Obama and Americans looking forward to a less cynical brand of politics, things seem to be degenerating back to the same old arguing and nonsense across the pond (where's Jed Bartlet when you need him, eh?) So between that and the political fallout of our own hacking scandal, it seems like the perfect climate for George Clooney's spin-doctor drama The Ides of March to release some new pics online, which you can stare at in the gallery below. Focusing on the dodgy, backbiting politics of a presidential primary campaign, March follows idealistic aide Ryan Gosling as he finds himself increasingly led astray by a morals-free candidate (co-writer/director Clooney himself). Thanks to Clooney's growing clout behind the camera, the film boasts a stellar cast including Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Jennifer Ehle, Marisa Tomei, and Evan Rachel Wood. So does the movie itself have an agenda? "Of course it's political; it takes place during a primary, Clooney tells USA Today. "But it's more about process than platform. " With a premiere set for this September's Toronto Film Festival, the movie will arrive over here on October 28. {Ides of March pics}You can see more pics from the movie over at USA Today.
