What are some amazing less popular alternative rock bands?

I'm looking to start expanding my music collection. Currently some of
the artists in which I listen to include:
- Radiohead
- Pink Floyd
- Our Lady Peace
- Phoenix
- The Trews
- The Smashing Pumkins
- Muse
- Everlea
- Cold Play
- One Republic
- Avenged Sevenfold
- Arcade Fire
- Matchbox Twenty
- etc.

Unfortinatly I'm having trouble finding bands that are good and I've
never heard of, I have tried listening to some bands that have similar
sounds to some of those. But right now I'm looking for a solid band,
that maybe has a nice alternative sound, maybe a few acoustic tracks
here and there. If anybody could give me a list of bands, or some good
insight on where to look I'd greatly appreciate it!
